In short, I like to matchmake (practically or strategically) between the arts, heritage, STEM and creative industries, and the people who enjoy them or could benefit from or contribute to them but don't yet know it.
I specialise in social impact and engagement activity. My work supports arts organisations, museums and heritage venues /sites, cultural agencies, festivals, STEM organisations, and community and education organisations with creative and cultural activities for the public.
I'm often involved in organisational change, evaluation or research, as well as development work at local, regional and national levels (including those with international connections or impact).
If I'm not doing that, you'll find me writing toolkits and resources, delivering training and professional development events, and from time to time running workshops or speaking at conferences and seminars.
At times I collaborate with others and am proud to be an Associate Consultant for Earlyarts, Frankly Green & Webb, Trinity College London, and Curious Minds.
I have up to date DBS checks, professional indemnity insurance and public, product and employers liability insurance.
And continually update my professional development through memberships, training and attendance at workshops, seminars and conferences.
I'm a member of national and international organisations including:
Arts Marketing Association
Association of Independent Museums
SROI / Social Value Network
Visitor Studies group
And other online networks supporting arts development, audience development, museums learning, public engagement, research, social media, and science communication.
