ROSE, THORN AND BUD TOOL

This version of a Rose, Thorn, Bud design thinking template is one I created to help The Halle work through their action research process developing and embedding their community engagement in Ancoats, Manchester.
The template is an objective and user friendly way to help people reflect on the successes, challenges and potential of their work, by simply thinking about what's blooming like a rose, what's getting stuck like a thorn, and what's emerging with potential - like a bud. There are many versions of this design thinking tool in existence, it's not a new invention, just a new illustration / template of a great idea.
